ConnectUBC is a chance for UBC members and friends to “connect” throughout the year outside of Sunday morning.  We plan and host different events for different folks so everyone has a chance to plug into something they enjoy! Our Fall 2018 ConnectUBC events will kick off in September, but for an idea, here are some events from the past:

Supper Club Wine Tasting at Josh Wheelock and Jonathan McBrayer’s home
We will have a wine tasting party followed by a light meal.  Anyone is welcome to attend and bring a dish of their choice.

Supper Club Community Meal at Ellen and Joe Bell’s home
Everyone is invited to come and bring a side dish, appetizer, or dessert.  The main dish will be Smoked Salmon.

Ranch Day with Paul Taylor and his cattle!
Join Paul to work his cattle at the ranch! Participants will help in a variety of ways and get an up close look at ranch life! Participants of all ages are welcome, and children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent.

UBC Family Camp out at South Llano State Park
All UBC members and friends of UBC are invited to join us as we fellowship down by the river and under the stars!

Supper Club at Cauble home
The Cauble Family is hosting the next ConnectUBC community meal. Pasta (meat or vegetarian) will be served, and attendees are asked to bring a side dish, beverage, or dessert to share.

Supper Club at Bass home
UBC members and friends are invited to join us at the Bass home. No RSVP necessary; bring a bathing suit so you can enjoy the pool! Guests are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. This is a great opportunity to come together in fellowship with the UBC family.

An Afternoon Under the Oak Grove at Live Oak Brewery
Bring your favorite games, yard or board, your kids, or your dogs! If you like the A/C and no flies, stay inside the brewery or join us out among the oaks in the shade.  There is usually a food truck, but pack a lunch if you’d rather.
