Too often, the church has offered easy and flat answers in the face of life’s complicated and layered questions. It’s time to change that. At UBC, we offer Spiritual Formation groups that lean into the deep-well of spiritual wisdom from our faith tradition and to ponder together how God’s dream for the world might become a reality. We seek to look out on the horizon for how our faith intersects our day-to-day living. Join us on the journey.
Adult Sunday Study
Sundays at 9:30 AM in the Library
Each week the adult Sunday school class meets in the library to discuss a variety of topics, including Scripture, spiritual practices, books, and social justice issues. Everyone is encouraged to join us for fellowship and authentic conversation, rooted in compassion.
Young at Heart Group
The Young At Heart Group meets regularly for meals or locations around the Hill Country. They have visited places like Laguna Gloria, painted churches, and local concerts. If you are interested, please contact Suellen Mills.
Harrell Book Club
The Harrell Book Club gathers on the second Monday of each month to discuss the assigned book for the month. For more information, please contact Ellen Bell. New members are always welcome!
