As a member of the congregation, Lily White (she/her) has been a part of the UBC family for over twenty years. Lily joined the staff in 2018, bringing with her over fourteen years in the hospitality industry. She is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. She received a Bachelor of Church Music from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Lily recently received the Karis Stahl Fadely Scholarship Award, the W.B.J. Martin Award in Homiletics, and the Bishop John Wesley Hardt Award. Lily is a Baugh Scholar and a student ambassador for the Baptist House of Studies Board of Visitors at Perkins. Lily and her wife, Kris, have been married for over twenty-nine years and is cat mom to Maeve and Nina.
